The project focuses on promoting positive and healthy online habits for children by encouraging our school, parents, and pupils to work together in partnership. We became involved as we recognised the importance of supporting children to use digital technology safely, responsibly, and in a way that protects their wellbeing both inside and outside the school gate.
Throughout the project, we gathered observations and feedback from parents, students, and staff through surveys, discussions, and consultation meetings. This collaborative process allowed every voice within our school community to be heard and helped us to identify shared values, concerns, and goals around online safety and digital wellbeing.
As a result, we worked together to create a Whole School Community Agreement which outlines the positive behaviours, boundaries, and supports we aim to promote across our school community. We look forward to launching our agreement in September.
